SMART MAINTENANCE AND THE RAIL TRAVELLER EXPERIENCE
11 April 2018 A Workshop on the understanding of the rail e-traveller experience and its relation with the MaaS offer will take place on Wednesday, 11th of April 2018 in Dublin.
The objective of the exercise, led by UITP, is to contribute to the exchange of feedbacks and to improve the understanding of the current and future needs of the railway travellers, sector characterised by rapid advances in technology and demographic changes, in order to identify the key aspects which could be improved and simplified through information and mobility support.
The Workshop will contribute to:
1. the development of the new experience map of the e-travellers journeys;
2. the definition of a pan-European survey addressing 1.200 travellers.
This Workshop will take place under the umbrella of a Shift2Rail project called SMaRTE. SMaRTE aims to produce a new understanding of the travel experience, thanks to the pan-European survey, through the set-up of a Smart Journey Vision. This document will be available next 2018 for the attendees in advance.
May you find this Workshop interesting, I would appreciate if you could send us your feedback at your earliest convenience, as the workshop will host 20 attendees (maximum).
For any further remarks and in order to get registered, please do not hesitate to contact my colleague Cristina Hernandez (cristina.hernandez@uitp.org).
